Despite being born in idyllic Sydney, Sibella's gypsy soul had her travelling the world searching for beautiful and unusual things to discover, from a very early age.

Describing herself as a ‘bowerbird’ and collector, Sibella’s innovative style was honed by her 10 years living in New York working with giant retailers Bergdof Goodman, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Brocade Home and Target, amongst many others. She still works with Anthropologie USA, travelling on their inspiration trips and designing product ranges, Sibella continues her nomadic ways by travelling regularly around the globe seeking inspiration for her styling and writing.
Sibella is a best selling author of the highly awarded styling book “Etcetera etc”, "Nomad", and "The Stylist’s Guide to New York". All have now been translated into several languages and are amongst the best selling home decoration books in Australian publishing history.Her next book "Bowerbird" is due for release in October and is all about collections and how to display them.
Highly sought after and recognised as an industry influencer, Sibella has had judging roles on the Channel 9 television design series HomeMADE as well as being featured on "Man Shops Globe" by Anthropologie's Keith Johnson, as a Sydney design expert. Sibella is often also requested to judge design competitions, including the Bombay Sapphire Design Awards and Designer Rugs Evolve Awards.
Sibella’s expertise and style is sought by brands wishing to develop collaborations (which she loves to do!), including paint, homewares, retailers and development brands.
She also has a beautiful props salon in Paddington “The Society inc.”, where she can be found creating new and fascinating spaces with her self-designed haberdashery & hardware range, along with her latest international finds.
